This is not AI slop. Real words from a real human who knows how to work with AI.
Strategy: The thinking behind the design. Before anything is made, I understand what’s true, what’s at stake, and what the work actually needs to do.
Craft: The design skill. Deep experience across brand and visual communication — knowing how to make things that look right, feel right, and hold up across every medium, every format, every deadline.
Culture: The kind of person I am to work with. I make teams better, communicate clearly, and leave creative culture stronger than I found it.

View Project ↗Annual event creative direction for the region's largest automotive showcase — campaign, environmental design, and promotional touchpoints across every channel.
View Project ↗A full brand rollout for a trauma-informed community initiative — responsive web design, social campaign graphics, and custom iconography built to make a sensitive mission feel clear, human, and accessible.
View Project ↗From positioning strategy to full visual systems. Logos, typography, color, tone of voice — built to scale, designed to last.
Art direction, team leadership, and campaign oversight. I bring cohesion and creative clarity from brief to final delivery.
Annual reports, magazines, and editorial systems. Structured stories told with purpose — where every spread earns its place.
High-stakes pitch decks, keynote systems, and executive presentation design. Ideas that hold the room, visually.
Live events, trade shows, and spatial environments — where design meets audience in real life and can't hide behind a screen.
Campaigns, sales collateral, websites, email, and social — creative that moves people to act, not just look.
Design is a conversation between strategy and craft.
Strategy-led, hands-on creative direction is how I’ve learned to hold both at once. Strategy is the thinking behind every decision. Craft is what actually makes people feel something. And honestly, none of it works if the process itself isn’t good; I care as much about how a project feels to work on as how it turns out.
I’m Sarah Dams, a Graphic & Digital Designer. With senior-level creative leadership, I’ve built brands, publications, campaigns, digital experiences, and event identities: the kind of work I want to still be proud of five years from now, not just on launch day. Before founding my own studio, I spent thirteen years at an advertising agency, learning what it actually takes to get an idea from a first-draft brief to something real, printed, and running.
BFA in Communication Design, Kutztown University. I served as President of AAF Greater Lehigh Valley, and I currently sit on the boards of the Women’s Business Council and Danny’s Ride.
Start a conversation ↗Before any brief, I listen. For context, tension, the unsaid things. Good design starts with understanding what's actually true — not what's on the slide.
Strategy precedes execution. I define what success looks like before a layout is opened. This is where we find the real problem worth solving.
Typography, color, image, motion — every element is a decision, and every decision tells part of the story. This is where craft enters.
I push ideas until they reveal their weaknesses, then build them stronger. Real refinement is honest, not precious. It shows in the final work.
How something enters the world matters as much as how it was made. I help clients show up with confidence — and document the story along the way.
